Donor Reviews For Ocean Welfare Foundation
A few weeks ago, I received a call from the Ocean Welfare Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that’s been operating since 2016. They informed me about their work providing free health, educational, and medical support to poor people in our country. They asked for a donation for an urgent healthcare case involving a 7-year-old boy named Rajeev Singh, who needed surgery for DSO+ AVV Repairing Heart. Initially skeptical, I asked for more details.
The representative was very understanding and provided me with Rajeev’s medical reports. They explained his condition, the urgency of the surgery, and how the funds would be used. They even connected me with the hospital treating Rajeev to verify his case. The sincerity in their communication made me consider their request seriously.
Still cautious, I asked for more information about the NGO itself. The representative promptly provided me with the Ocean Welfare Foundation’s registration details, their website, and even some testimonials from beneficiaries. I spent some time exploring their website and found detailed information about their ongoing projects, success stories, and financial transparency reports. Their clear commitment to their cause and the transparency they displayed helped build my trust.
Here is the PDF of Rajeev’s Medical Report they share me.
Feeling reassured, I decided to donate ₹10,000 to support Rajeev’s surgery. The process was straightforward, and they provided a receipt for my donation. A week later, I received updates on Rajeev’s condition, which confirmed that my contribution was being put to good use. The updates included photos and messages from Rajeev’s family, expressing their gratitude.
Two weeks later, I received another call from the Ocean Welfare Foundation. They updated me on Rajeev’s progress and explained that more funds were needed for his post-surgery care and medications. By now, I felt quite confident in their operations and the authenticity of their cause, so I decided to donate another ₹15,000. Once again, I received a receipt and updates on how my donation was being used.
Reflecting on this experience, I am convinced that the Ocean Welfare Foundation is a genuine organization. They demonstrated transparency, provided verifiable information, and showed real results from their efforts. They were also very respectful and thankful for the support, which made me feel valued as a donor.
